"Perfect"

Staying at Widewath was wonderful. The apartment was immaculate, cozy and comfortable. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The location is fantastic with lots of lovely local walks. The farm is so peaceful and the views are gorgeous. I really didn't want to leave.

Clean and cozy self catering with everything we needed. Comfy beds and a peaceful sleep. George let us help bottle feed and cuddle some lambs and it was nice talking to him and Alice about life on the farm. Great location for exploring the lake district or to relax on the farm and walk the local area.

We had a lovely Easter weekend at Widewath barn. Beautiful scenery and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Alice the host was wonderful and we loved seeing the farm animals and meeting the jack Russells. Altogether a peaceful and relaxing stay.

A true home away from home. It was wonderful to enjoy the silence and tranquility whilst having all types of facilities available. Alice was the perfect hostess!

A few more toilet amenities would’ve made our stay even better.

Really cosy and comfortable barn conversion in a beautiful location with everything we needed for a two night stay. Helpful info provided re directions, arrival and local walks, pubs etc and we had a lovely Sunday roast dinner at the nearby Mardale Community Pub. Great to be able to walk from the doorstep & Pooley Bridge is within easy reach over the hill with plenty of options for a coffee (& a lovely book shop which does nice coffee & cake!).
