Chester City Centre Cottage, Sleeps 6 with FREE Parking

We arrived at the property for my sister's 65th birthday. On arrival and after lots of back and forth with the host, it transpired that the boiler was not working. After what seemed like forever (you can't speak to them it's all via messages) I was told we could not stay there and they would issue a full refund IF I found somewhere else, which luckily I did. So off we went under the impression that we would receive a full refund because I had booked and paid for somewhere else and this would be back in my account within 12 days. We are now on day 13, I've not received a refund, I have messaged them, waiting for a reply and I've contacted Booking.com who have confirmed that the refund has not even been agreed nevermind actioned. Booking.com can not refund me because the property has not confirmed I'm entitled to one. Therefore I am still out of pocket, and having to chase MY money. Very very poor from both the host and booking.com I await my refund!!!!!!

Easy access to the shopping centre in town

No bins in the bedroom

Location was great with just a very short walk into town or the roman ruins in the other direction. The parking spot came in very handy as chester can get very busy. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful and bed was very comfy.

No hot water ,ignored by owners ,had leave after one day of a 3 day break still no refund

Very well situated. Nice large living room.

Nice and clean everything you need and near to city centre will be booking again.

Boiler broken so first night was freezing but once new boiler was in we were ok. The inconvenience of having the new boiler fitted hence we couldn't use shower etc but accept it couldn't be helped xxx

A Washington machine would’ve been ideal but no big deal.

Great location. Great communication and nice attention to detail (such as the kitchen welcome basket and essentials)

Lovely house, great location. We had children (young teens) with us and the Christmas tree was a lovely touch.
