Quay Cottage

The cottage was very well situated. Close to eating places. The upstairs was larger than the downstairs. Downstairs was a good size living room and very small kitchen although adequate for a few days.

A character property which has been renovated to a very high standard. Good quality linen and towels, well equipped kitchen and lovely little patio at the back with comfortable seating. Parking available in the street . There is a pub opposite but it was very quiet at night and there are several pubs, coffee shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Parkgate is a beautiful location overlooking the Dee Estuary to North Wales , once famous for its shrimp fishing and smugglers. So much history to discover and beautiful walks, bird watching and be sure to buy an ice-cream at the famous “Nicholls”.

Nothing. We loved it! But just a warning for anyone with limited mobility or very young children, the staircase is very steep.

Comfortable cottage with everything we needed provided. Clean, decent shower and welcome pack of milk etc was appreciated. Good location for eating out and local walks.
