Quay Cottage

the beds were not comfortable, otherwise everything else about the accommodation was excellent

Clean and quiet. Despite the fact that the houses are ajoined/terraced, a parking lot opposite and pub just at the end of the road we had a lovely quiet stay. Kitchen was compact but has the necessary items. Location was super with restaurants within easy walking distance. The main double bed was a bit creaky but the soft matress was very comfortable.

Nothing. It should be noted that the bathroom is upstairs and the stairs are a bit steep and therefore could be an issue for some people. Car parking is not designated and on the street. We were lucky to be able to park right outside the front door of the unit. Could be tricky in the busy summer but there is a 'pay parking lot' across the street.

Location was perfect. The cottage was a great size for the 2 of us but think if there had been 4 adults it would have been a bit of a squeeze especially as the kitchen was small

Very nice stay and comfortable.

Possibly a few more beakers and glasses than four. Think it would be helpful to have a second key, more convenient when going out separately. We couldn't get the fire to work.......maybe it was just us.

Lovely cottage, everything you need. Comfy bed, very close to all that park gate has to offer.

A wonderful very clean and well equipped cottage. Location was ideal. Would definitely make a return journey and books this again.

There was nothing to dislike

Location was good for visiting family.

Single beds were very uncomfortable, could feel the springs through the quilt, ended up taking the quilt off the spare bed to use as a mattress topper. I struggled to sleep for the two nights we stayed.

Lovely cottage in the village of Parkgate, second time staying at this property and would stay again. Stones throw from the restaurants, cafes and pubs and waterfront. Great communication from Gary prior to arrival and post. All in all a great little place.
