Shane was available on arrival to show us into the property and give us instructions on the facilities etc. He has very kindly left us fresh bread and milk on our arrival. He had emailed us with very clear instructions on how to find the property as well as vast information about the nearby area, places to eat, places of interest etc, which was super helpful. The property was perfect for my family of 4, a great location to explore the New Forest. We will definitely be recommending this property to friends and family. Thank you Shane!

"A perfect place to explore the New Forest and South Coastline"

Great communication and information from the host before and during our visit. Accommodation just as described - whilst 'quirky' the steps upstairs not an issue for us and we managed with the reduced head height upstairs around the bed. Really comfy bed ... so quiet & we slept really well for our 4 night stay. Kitchen really well equipped, welcome extras waiting for us ( bubbles and cake) and self catering basics provided and appreciated. All accommodation extremely clean and well kept/maintained. Garden is absolutely stunning and a real credit to the host ... wildlife ( deer/heron) regular visitors during our stay and such a relaxing garden to sit in. Great location so close the the town and edge of the New Forest. We had an amazing stay.

Shane made me feel so welcome on my arrival he explained all the facilities in the lodge which made it a lot easier to settle in. The location is perfect as well, if you wanted a quick trip to Salisbury it’s a very short car journey away.

It was all perfect, nothing wrong at all.

We had a great stay in Fordingbridge, on the edge of the wonderful New Forest. The lodge was very comfortable (with good wifi connection) with a beautiful garden. Our host, Shane, was very helpful.
