Beds were comfortable

Code for door did not work on arrival. Took 30 minutes to contact owner. Patio doors did not lock therefore unsecured. Damp smell in property. Bathroom light was not ip rated & is illegal. Parking was not free despite this being stated in the booking description.

Awesome communication with the owner. Lovely comfy beds and lounge area. The smaller double is super cosy and the main double is huge with loads of room. Very secure garden completely walled all the way round for dogs. Well equipped kitchen and lots of seating/table in the garden for the summer! Smart door lock is easy once you know how 😉 Thanks for a great stay we will be back.

Not much we didnt like, parking was always busy but we always found room so no problems there really .......

It is near the city centre.

I tried multiple times to contact the owner with regards to getting a parking permit and how to actually access the property, but could only got an email back once I complained to Booking.com the day before we left. We luckily managed to get parking upon arrival but the street was packed so this can be luck of the draw. The area is very run down and there were plenty of unsavoury characters within the area. I can handle myself but if you are not an able person its really not worth the risk of getting into a bad situation. 2 doors down there was what appeared to be a trap house that stunk of weed and we could smell it upstairs when we were trying to sleep. The beds were very hard and we were greeted by 2 fireplaces that had stickers on them saying do not use which added to the "homely" vibe. The extraction fan above the cooker was not working so don't expect to cook anything that smokes. Didn't have a shower as it was dirty and filled with rust so did not want to risk it. It turned what was supposed to be a nice couple of days in the city into a terrible time. Avoid this place

The location was good

House smells mouldy and unable to open the front window in the lounge and so became unbearable to sit in. Cobwebs all over the hallway and landing. Back door unsafe as it doesn't lock with a key only a small barrel bolt lock, the type you would put on a bathroom door, however there was no lock on the bathroom door not good when the house is advertised for adults and there was 3 adults on our trip. Thought it would have had complementary tea, coffee, etc. However only had a few cheap tea bags no milk or sugar and the coffee was no good, as all stuck together, so after a 5 hour drive to get there had to then go look for a shop. I also had to buy a non-slip bath mat whilst away as it didn't have one. Very expensive for what we got and what we needed as we didn't do any cooking as we only needed somewhere to shower and sleep. Just to add insult to injury, we had to pay parking on the arrival day and leaving day. Clearly, the owner is milking every penny can get. A hotel would have been cheaper, cleaner, and safer and would have had complementary essentials. It advertises netflix. However, it didn't state netflix with adverts, so I logged into my laptop and watched my own add free netflix in the bedroom with a window that can open. It was ridiculously expensive for what we got.

Excellent location close to the city centre. House was well equipped with all essentials covered. Nice dog friendly house and enclosed garden. Host was very responsive.

On street parking was.occasionally difficult, but most of the time.managed to park fairly close.
