GBGorgeous over the lake especially in the morning
Doesn’t make it clear when the reception closes so we arrived at about 7 o clock with no one around, no map to find out cottage and no one picking up the phone. We had to go round each cottage in the dark with a torch trying to find it.

GBA beautiful property, overlooking the lake. Plenty of parking onsite and easy access to the cottage. The house was very clean and exceptionally well equipped! The only thing that wasn’t there was kitchen towel, cling film & foil! Plates, glasses etc were there in abundance. It was a great base for exploring Matlock and the surrounding areas and we’d definitely recommend staying there.
