The lack of cleanliness, couldn't use the facilities, no one on site at night time, no emergency number, a big group of people allowed to shout, laugh and be loud all night.

Great central location but will need a car. Great atmosphere and great walks nearby. Very clean and comfortable.

Setting on the lake was pretty

On arrival the key code was wrong, luckily we were there before reception closed and a nice guy who worked there helped us with the actual code. The house felt sparse down stairs, walls were very badly marked, throughout the house with scuffs and spills. The en-suite bathroom was dirty, with build up of black mould on the window, build up of months of thick dust on the skirting boards, mildue and black scum on the shower walls. The main rooms bedding was a king size cover with a double duvet inside and was split down one side where the stitching had come apart, and one pillowcase looked and smelt like it hadn’t been changed. Previous visitors must have broken glass as there was shards of glass in the main living room area, some of which was stuck in my daughters foot. There were no forks in the house but approx 25 spoons, staff took about 20 mins to replace them. The oven door had oily wet food spillage on it on the inside. The down stairs toilet was more like a cleaners cupboard with the hoover, brush, clothes aider and ironing board all in there, not accessible to use with all that in there, oh and no hand towel, and the walls all marked with dried wet drips from the switches and grubby finger marks around the switch on the wall. On check out I had to wait 7 mins in reception with no one thereto attend,after ringing the bell several times and knocking the internal door finally the rooms maids answered with rude expressions and just said leave the key here, very poor customer service.

The location was perfect for what we needed.

The cottage is very dirty! Thankfully we were only there one night. Needs redecorating throughout Cobwebs all over Bugs in the bed Hairs on bedding (not from someone's head 🤢) Bathroom had not been cleaned. Again, hairs on toilet lid and in bath. No tea towel in kitchen Very squeaky floorboards Dirty floors and carpets

It was just perfect, cottage was spacious and wonderfully situated. Very quite and peaceful setting

Location was good for exploring The Peak District. Rooms were spacious. Host was really helpful finding us a DVD player.

Oven needs updating, only 1 shelf and difficult to control temperature. Towels need to be a higher quality.
