There was nobody at Reception on arrival (we arrived at 7pm) and we spent quite a long time searching for the house. We may have been sent a map in the multiple emails provided by Booking.com and the property but there was no phone signal at the site to find out. The bedroom and bathroom doors don't close properly, or lock. There was no hot water at the house.

Lack of light outside house
NZLocation is beautiful, calm and peaceful.
We had to leave a day early, as the beds were so uncomfortable and old that we ended up with severe back, neck and shoulder pain. Days later we are still in pain from the beds. We reported the reason for our early departure at reception and was told that the manager would get in touch with us to discuss possible refund for the night we didn't stay. We never heard back from anyone. Lovely location, but really not worth the money to stay.
GBBeautiful location. Lovely cottage with everything you could need. They even had board games which was a nice touch. We had a fantastic two night stay and would happily return. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Not so much that I didn't like, but would've been nice to have a dressing table with a mirror, especially with 3 girls getting ready 😀
