Little Sussex House

Excellent location in the heart of Rye old town

It was beautiful. I have a lot of memories of this house. It's a pity that I couldn't find anyone who could remember my relatives.

The house is in a super location at the top of the town near Church Square. It is near everything but also quiet at night. The hosts were very responsive and helpful by phone texts and we could check in before 2 pm. The interior design is a cut above and it is super clean and very well equipped with good lighting and a good shower. The main bedroom has a wonderful aspect. My parents enjoyed having a TV that I could cast BBC and Netflix to. Comfortable beds. Photos are all accurate and set expectations.

This is a lovely small old house but of course that means there is limited space as you should expect. The open plan downstairs makes the most of the footprint though. You can unload the car right outside the house but you need to park elsewhere. Overnight parking at the Rye Cattle Market was cheap and convenient.

Plenty of places for breakfast within a 5 min walk

Beautifully clean, very comfortable and a prefect location. All the little touches like coffee pods, biscuits, bin liners, washing up liquid that the host left in the property was great for a short stay.

We loved staying at Little Sussex. It is in the perfect location - despite being in the “center” of Rye, it is quiet and private. We completely relaxed there. Liz and Andrew were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed knowing they were just next door.

Great communication from hosts & best location , right in one of the lanes , & opposite Historic LambHouse , which is a must see. Little Sussex House had everything one needed &felt so comfortable . there was even fresh milk in the fridge & a whole folder full of local attractions .we loved it .
