Pretty Cottage in Central Lewes

Very comfortable bed, clean and very relaxing.

It was very hot, but it was the hottest day of the year and fans were provided.

Joanne is an exceptional host, sending information on how to use the lockbox and heating. She was very helpful, replying promptly to questions about the area. The house is beautiful with lovely furnishings, it is well stocked and everything is of a high standard. It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, but central to the town, pubs and restaurants. It really is a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful warm welcoming cottage. Very friendly host. Great location.

The cottage is located in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac, in a delightful and distinctive part of Lewes, away from the centre, yet only a 10 minute walk away from the heart of the town (5 minutes if you hop on the regular bus service). The period cottage itself is very spacious inside with both a conservatory and a small courtyard with outside table and chairs. It has an excellent kitchen and very good bathroom. Within a minute or two’s walk from the cottage are two delightful pubs and a lovely small coffee bar called ‘Hannah’s’. If you wish to stay just outside the busy centre of Lewes in a lovely part of Lewes but within easy walking distance of the centre, I highly recommend this property.
