Lyn View Cottage - Modern Lynmouth Townhouse

The hosts were fantastic and incredibly kind and accommodating! This house itself was super cosy and clean! It has everything you need and the location was perfect! Would love to visit again ❤️

Quiet area. Just a few minutes walk into Lynmouth and ideally placed as a base for visiting the area. Lovely view of the river. Kitchen fully equipped.

Very slippery cobbles and steps in the alley leading to the entrance. A door mat to wipe feet on would have been very usual as would a broom or mop. Felt the large freezer could be replaced with somewhere to store shoes.

Lovely, clean property with a homely feel. It had everything you would need for a family holiday and the children’s toys and games were a very nice touch too. Location is excellent for exploring Lynmouth and surrounding areas. Car parking is no problem as the car park 2 minutes away is free overnight from 6pm-10am.

Good location in the village with beautiful nature walks nearby. Comfortable and had all we needed.

No instructions about how to turn on the power for the shower. Eventually found a fuse switch outside the bathroom door and then turned on the heated towel rack unknowingly. Unfortunately my son didn’t realise it was on and burnt his arm on it because it gets very hot.

Great location, easy access to Lynmouth town centre - parking in the public car park was reasonably priced, and a very short walk away.

Access to the property was a bit challenging with a pram - but didn't stop us enjoying the place.

Good contact with the host (the shower did not work upon our arrival, but it was properly repaired the day after. We missed the shower on our arrival day, but the contact and repair were so smooth and swift it is a strong point instead of a weak point), nice cottage, good beds

We were with 5, and then the cottage is a bit too small.

It was well laid out. Room to relax and functional too. The view of the river and valley was lovely and to hear the river flowing was very tranquil. The loft room fabulous for adult kids! Everything was in walking distance too.

Nothing at all. As the info and reviews describe it so well. We didn’t mind this at all, will mention that the stairs are steep, so be mindful. Car park, however, £20 for a 4 day pass. Which was good value. Otherwise it’s £14.00 per day.
