"Perfect little hideaway in the mountains"

Fabulous couple of days spent back in time, beautiful little slice of heaven, nestled in the Mournes, we celebrated our wedding anniversary, hired bikes and cycled to Newcastle, the views were unmatched, Andy is a fab host, who was on hand any time we needed information. Fantastic break away

"Great location"

Location was excellent nice and quiet and peaceful, lots of hiking at your doorstep

Had a little water pressure issue at the start, way beyond the hosts control. Got that sorted out and all was good

"You won’t want to leave this little piece of paradise!"

10.0

Absolutely everything! Step back in time in this little cottage, which has been lovingly restored in the most beautiful way, keeping many of the original features of a bygone era. Honestly I feel that whatever I write won’t do it justice. It was a little slice of heaven. We enjoyed the peace, tranquility, nature and absorbing the world around us. The cottage was cosy and clean. The bed was really comfortable and the bath tub was a lovely treat. There was wifi which worked well but we didn’t use it much and no TV meant we properly switched off. The hot tub outside was a definite bonus. Even with the winds blowing around us, the hot tub, nestled in a corner of the garden, was glorious, with drystone walls providing shelter and the trees around us giving the perfect canopy. A perfect place to lie and enjoy the outdoors. The restoration of this cottage is truly phenomenal. 5*’s just doesn’t do it justice!

No complaints at all
