Muncaster Cottages

The house was amazing, large rooms, nicely furnished, comfortable beds, beautiful gardens and stunning views over the estuary. So peaceful and relaxing. Off the beaten track. Kitchen was well stocked with implements. Could easily spend lots more time there.

The house could do with a bit of TLC, paint peeling off the walls and a few cracks in the plaster. Curtains need a bit of attention.

The staff were lovely and the beds were comfortable

The bathrooms weren't clean, there were dead flies all over the windowsills and floors, the oven didn't have a button to let you put the gas on, one of the knobs was missing on the oven, the sealant around the oven had fallen off. It also could have used some redecorating as the paint was chipping and peeling off the walls. It has a lot of potential, and could have been great if it was cleaner.

Beautiful location and views of the sea. Quiet and close to Muncaster Castle..lovely people with railway right around the corner. The house was very big, bigger than we imagined. Had most of what we needed and wifi access. Not enough room to sit everyone in the living room but we managed. Very clean.

Not much worktop space in kitchen for preparing food on. Another counter or island table would help. I didn't see a guide on things to do or walks for local area.

The kitchen was well supplied, the living room and bedrooms were also very comfortable.

Paint/ wallpaper was peeling off the walls in some bedrooms. Behind the fridge smelt a little weird. The property displayed in the photo was not the one we stayed in.

the location was stunning, property was joy to live in.

the accessibility was a little challenging as it is in the middle of no where.

The house was perfect for our family get away. There were 13 of us and we had the most amazing time. It was the perfect location for us all to be together. The grounds were wonderful and the view was out of this world.

The house was very dark at night, which I loved. But I think the outside lights need restored around the back of the house as we could not see the dog.

The location near the beach and excellent pubs and food . Spacious for all the family .

Property was not very clean . Needs redecorating . Fridge freezer old and broken, no shelves in inner door and too small . Not big enough for a family of 8 adults and two children . Garden furniture old and needs replacing . Front garden over grown and dangerous for young children . Slates broken around the centre circle . Both gardens looked as though they had not been tendered too . Also one outside bin was full of the rubbish on arrival .
