What a fantastic little cottage in the best location right by the cathedral and castle and 2 minutes walk to some lovely restaurants

Great location by castle and Cathedral. Left the car parked free all weekend. So much to do ! Walking tour. Cathedral tour, and service, met very interesting people! Theatre visit. Art Gallery. Welcome pack of milk tea/coffee/ biscuits.

Nit picking … but the table cutlery was a disappointment!

This was a fabulous little cottage over 3 floors, perfect for what we wanted. It has got steep stairs but we knew this beforehand. Its spotless throughout, everything is provided for you. Bed is really comfy, loads of storage space, bonus of 2 bathrooms, it is situated in Uphill Lincoln right next to the Castle, the Cathedral and Steep Hill, which is exactly that!! Its a 9 min walk all downhill into the Town Centre. Residents parking was a bonus. This really is a lovely place to stay, contact with the owner Susan was great. We loved it and would defo recommend and go back 🥰

There is absolutely nothing, not to like about this little gem

This property is by far the best that we have stayed in at Lincoln. We travel there regularly (at least bi-monthly) for university. The hosts are so helpful. The cottage is stunning and the location amazing. Our only disappointment is that it is rarely available as we would love to stay there every time we visit. It really is a little GEM. We highly recommend. 10/10. Thank you.

It was a wonderful property in the historic district! I was in awe of how fantastic it was situated to the castle, cathedral and steep hill. Great response from owner when messaging. Can I write that I didn’t want to leave?

Parking was a bit tricky but easy enough to load and unload then find parking. This is a historic district after all, so worth the effort.

Excellent location. Lovely views of cathedral and castle. Very clean and excellent communication from host. Also, car permit for parking, we found a place nearby but could drive up outside first to drop off and on leaving to pickup cases. The bed was so comfy. Also, a toilet on ground floor and en suite which helped if in kitchen getting tea or just come in no need to go up two flights, or when wakeup. Had a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was great but if you aren't very mobile the steps are steep and on 3 floors but we knew that before booking. Just lighting in bedroom could have been better for me as I wear contacts so when putting them in went into bathroom. Although we have an old listed thatched cottage ourselves, we are currently renovating for a holiday home, and know what a challenge this can be with what you can and can't do so understand this. The pros outweighed this.

Position of the property, it is comfortable and warm and parking permit.

We found the stairs a little difficult to navigate but we are elderly and as bungalow dwellers not used to them.
