Park view chalet

Location, lovely bathroom, had everything I needed.

Nothing really.

Location was good. Close to beach and parking onsite, although out of the way. Singles beds were comfy, we used this pushed together.

Damp everywhere which made the bedding wet. Wasn’t told that you needed to top up the electricity, in fact the details on the booking says that £10 of electricity is provided, this clearly was not the case. The electricity ran out half way through a shower so I had to freeze whilst waiting for the owner to come and sort it. Asked for towels upon arrival as there weren’t enough and these turned up the next day mid morning, so we were waiting around to be able to shower. The owner was rude when asked about when these were going to be provided, saying that he had to work late so didn’t want to get up early. Last day, was woken up early for a delivery that the owner was then waiting outside for; the owner could turn up early for this! Main bed was very uncomfortable, think the early morning wake up call was for a new mattress delivery, hopefully this was the case. Would definitely not stay again.

Was a lovely chalet. Perfect for the kids as was dead opposite the park and they could just nip in and out when the liked. Was plenty of space for all of us and the club house is lovely too with very friendly people there.

i found the property to be dirty and in need of redecoration, the beds were really uncomfortable. We went to use the cooker on morning one and it was dirty inside, we had to wash items before using them. we were not advised the electric was run on a meter and we were responsible until last minute, it may be obviously to those who use chalets often but not for us and would have been nice to have been told it wasn't included. The information pack was not updated, the internet reception was awful, I have photos and a list but there is no point saying it all. the property needs to have a good going over before letting out. we won't be returning.
