Location was great

Chalet was a little unclean, especially the sofa with suspect stains and the kettle was gross. We had to boil our water on the stove which was also a little dirty as the kettle was yellow inside with dirt. Nice location but I wouldn't stay here again.

Self catering but plenty of food outlets nearby. Parking Ok but trees where parking was dropping sap.

Park could have had a mower that picked up grass cuttings as they kept trailing into chalet.

We had a great stay. The chalet is very comfortable, and the living room surprisingly spacious, and tastefully decorated. Everything in the kitchen worked well, and there was plenty of storage space. Including in the bathroom, which although small had drawers and cabinets to keep stuff in. This is great, because so many places have lovely looking bathrooms but with nowhere to put all your stuff, so you end up never unpacking your toilet bag - as someone who travels with a lot of toiletries and hair products this made me really happy! The bedrooms were small but had room for the necessities, including hanging space as well as drawers in both rooms. It was carpeted throughout, apart from the kitchen and bathroom, which was great for our dog, who hates hard floors. This, along with the gated deck area, were among the reasons we picked that particular chalet. Everything was clean and well organised when we arrived, and the owner Steve was there to show us around and explain how everything worked. He was friendly and approachable, and lives close by so we knew he was available if we had any problems (which we didn't). The furniture was all comfortable, the TV was good quality, and the included WiFi worked great. The table and chairs outside were also comfortable, and we had enough sun to need the parasol, so that was lovely to have. The park area is also lovely. We were there out of season, so it was nice and quiet for us, but would be ideal for children over the summer - the chalet faced the outdoor play area, and was very close to the clubhouse, so perfectly situated if that's what you want. The local village is small but had everything you need - several shops, pubs and arcades, and the beach literally 5 minutes walk from the chalet - again, ideal for both dogs and children! The nearby town of Caister has a big Lidl and a Tesco, and is only about 10 minutes by car.

The Freeview TV worked great for most of our stay, but we had a bit of bad weather on our last day and the TV reception got intermittently poor that day. Other than that, everything was pretty much perfect.

The club and beach were close

Very uncomfortable mattresses in single room, springs digging in back. Duvets very thin and no blankets so my mum was freezing. Single bed slat missing and othered not screwed in so it collapsed. Heater in single room not working & bathroom heater not working. Dirty shower hose that was black. Couple of handles on doors loose or stiff & sticking. Generally the maintenance is not being done!!!

the single matteress felt the springs on there also woke up to condensation however this cleared up after opening windows however was cold outside
