Street bit run down but was ok for us

Easy to find and had everything we needed for our stay . Very responsive host .

Too cold for us in the house despite having a heating on. The day we arrived there was a crime on the road and scared the children.

Had everything we needed and brilliant location, not too central but close enough for a cheap uber, would return definitely. Owner dropped off an iron quickly on request as the one there had been taken, and late checkout was requested & given with no issues.

Some dishes needing washed but really not an issue

Property had heating issue and owner transferred us to alternate venue at last minute. Did what said on the tin. It took a while to warm up but the owner dropped off extra blankets. Not far from motorway and 10 min drive to nearest metrolink would come again. Kitchen was stocked with cleaning gear so we could tidy up. 5 minute walk to tescos. Quiet nieghbourhood. Beds confortable.

Tad cold, but cant blame owner as this was an emergency relocation. One bedroom has a combi boiler thats noisy, but didnt stop me sleeping. Owner seems to have a fulltime job ontop of looking after the various properties so takes a while to get backto you on the run up. Dont worry he sorts you out on the day.

The communication with our host was great and the check in and check out couldn’t have been easier. It was immaculately clean and the beds were comfortable. Our host allowed us to leave our bags after check out.

The decor and soft furnishings are rather dated.

Rude and impolite owner. No response to my questions at the beginning. When I asked for the code to the key of the house, he started to grumble about the amount that I paid, which is, however, stated on booking.com, not me. Then started to accuse of not providing my ID and deposit, which I have already provided in advance, and that have already been confirmed. I don't understand what the issue is. Very bad experience in booking this house.

Close to amenities

The steep stairs to the upstairs which is where two bedrooms and the only bathroom are located. Tough if you are a bit tired and unfit
