Clean and had everything we needed

I have an autistic child who struggles with over powering smells, in the bathroom there is an air freshener that let out very strong scent. However we overcome this by removing a battery so all was well

"Love Thetford, property a real let down"

The only thing I liked was the location was perfect for my elderly mother as so close to town.

The condition of the property was awful. Settee very lumpy and uncomfortable to sit on. Dining room chairs were very wonky. Upstairs front bedroom was in a poor state see photos. The bathroom was downstairs and it was not stated on the property details just said private bathroom. It is clearly a student accommodation as there was numbers on the door. The welcome from the owners was appalling. I felt the tone of their email response was grab the money then we don’t care what’s next. The dishwasher did not work. The toilet brush was disgusting and I didn’t take a photo of it. The carpet on the stairs is in a desperate need to be changed. £60 cleaning fee is a joke for the size of the property. I have a 4 bedroom house and I pay my cleaner £30 a week. It is a shame as I have stayed in a few properties of booking.com with no issues and lovely emails and welcome from the property owners. I could not believe when I got an email from the owners asking for a 5 star review.
