"Wonderful property surrounded by a beautiful garden overlooking a lake, topped off by great hosts!"

Angus and Claire were the perfect hosts. Extremely friendly and very helpful. They made us feel right at home, while also giving us plenty of privacy. While the house was lovely, the outside space was so peaceful overlooking the lake. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. Hopefully Angus and Claire will travel to Ireland in the future xx

Really lovely, friendly, welcoming hosts. It’s in beautiful location; you wouldn’t know you were so close to Town. Property itself is clean and has everything you could need/want.

"Lovely stay, hope to return in the future"

The cottage is lovely and comfortable and although small has been very thoughtfully laid out to utilise the space. The hosts are incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Location is great with a feel of being in the countryside but only a short easy stroll from Barnstaple.

"Great R&R holiday"

We we met by Gus one of the hosts who made us feel very welcome as we had a very stressful journey down from Wales. Thank you Gus!! We were celebrating our 1st year wedding anniversary and chose to do this in a quiet relaxing manner. The location was amazing. The little lake on the property was great, you can swim or fish or paddle board or just sit by the side sipping a drink and letting all your worries float away. Gus & Claire were perfect hosts and their dogs got on so well with our staff. I think my staff is pining for sweet Pixie, they made such great friends. There is lots to do in and around the location but as I said we wanted to do very little and just relax and enjoy, which we certainly did. Thank you to Gus and Claire for opening their Little Barn to us and welcoming us with open arms. We will most definitely visit you again! We highly recommend this property.

Nothing not to dislike at all!
