We loved our stay in The Shire House. Communication was great throughout; the house was very well-equipped and furnished, and exceeded our expectations in every way. Our dog loved the complimentary biscuits. We would love to return.

"will defiantly stay again!"

the decor and the space. it was lovely. everything clean and felt like a home. very good range of crockery, cutlery, glasses and everything you could need! and fresh milk in the fridge was a very welcome thing after a long days work. the personalised note to tell us what’s what, the fire being hot, the whole experience was one of the easiest and best I’ve had. and parking right outside. three professional males staying for work and we felt relaxed and comfortable. we are even planning personal stays for our next trip! you will not regret this booking. helpful from beginning to end.

I was worried we might have been cold just two of us in such a big house in December but Christopher had the log burner blazing and the heating on. Its a beautiful house with so many fabulous touches and design quirks.
