Lavender House

Location is excellent. Great position for Edwinstow and the forest. We were attending a wedding at Hazel Gap Barn. House was very clean. All linen and towels clean and ready for use Amenities / equipment were exelent(I.e bathroom, kitchen, toilet)

If i were to be picky, The only thing we could say was that, for us, the beds were not very supportive. Which I know is a personal preference and thus difficult to get right for everyone.

Excellent location especially for Sherwood Pines Bike Park. Good take aways and supermarket within walking distance

Third bedroom very small only really suitable for young child.

The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. The washing machine was particularly useful and clothes dried quickly in the sunshine. It was a very relaxing stay. We didn't eat out although there were lots of eateries in the village but we did have a Chinese takeaway.

The only slight negative is the busy road. The traffic starts at about 5-30 so it can be a little noisy in the front bedroom. Wouldn't stop us booking another break here though.

It was our 2nd time staying here, it’s like home from home. We will deffo stay here again.

The house was beautifully presented and very clean. Everything we needed was there, plates, cutlery etc as well as tea and coffee. My children enjoyed the toys and books and my wife was more than a little bit obsessed by the bath tub.

The beds were a little less comfortable than we are used to but that is just us being a bit fussy, we all managed a nights sleep.

Fantastic holiday home with all the things you need. Ideally located near to all amenities, and dog friendly too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
