Lavender House

Parking for 2 cars. Easy walk into town. Comfortable sofas. 2 toilets. Good shower and bathroom. Garden. Fruit tea. Comfortable dining table and chairs. Very well equipped-cleaning products/foil/plenty of toilet rolls. Plenty of items that were very handy if you'd forgotten some basics. Plenty of mugs/glasses/cutlery/vases. Flexible relaxed approach by host. Dog friendly.

Convenient for our stay close to our event we had to do accommodation was clean and everything was there we needed

Immaculate spacious property. Close to amenities. Well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Easy to find.

Tiny thing but would be lovely if they put some softener in the towel wash as they were rock hard.

This truly is like a home-from-home. There is pretty much anything you could need for a few days away. Everything clean, everything works as it should.

House was very warm after a cold day in the Forrest. The instructions sent by host were clear and covered everything we needed to know.

Beautiful house. Loved our stay.

Just that the kitchen dish cloth and scourer seemed to get thrown out after each guest, which seemed really wasteful. If you arrive after dark, have a torch ready! There is no lighting on, on arrival.

We were not sent the lock box code and were left in the freezing cold and pitch black at the side of a busy main road at 6pm for 40 minutes with 3 young children. One a baby, and could not get the host or booking.com on the phone for this whole time. The host finally did call back but there was no apology for the confusion and did not make any further contact to check we got in okay. Also the bathroom window upstairs is broken and cannot be closed so it was freezing I side thw house also.
