Great location, cosy house.

The house and garden are both in need of some tlc. Although clean on the surface, there are areas which could do with a deep clean, eg., the light over the dining table has a layer of grease and dust, as does the cooker hood, kitchen cupboards could do with wiping out, very dusty inside wardrobe. Large sofa, very uncomfortable. Pillows and bedding are very old. Two new towels hadn't been washed left fluff on our skin, the other towels very old/thin. Having paid almost £1000.00 for the week, we did expect better quality bed linen. The hairdryer sparked, and flame came out of the nozzle, we were thanked for reporting this and had hoped a new one would be provided (it wasn't). The decorative knob on the upstairs newell post was loose and could have been dangerous, so we took it off. Nice touches also, dish washer and washing machine capsules left for us, tea, coffee, and sugar available. Both bathrooms are nice but no hot water in downstairs loo. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the comments are meant in a constructive way.

Great location, had everything we could need including toys for the kids which were a win, comfy beds, very quick responses to emails, car parking spaces. Perfect for exploring Sherwood Forest and surrounding areas.
