The Hut by the River

All of it! It is a gorgeous location, with the hut exceeding all expectations.

great location, really quiet and relaxing, close enough to York city centre ect. local pub done lovely food, village shop 2 mins away and the waterfront cafe for breakfast was genuinely the best breakfast we’ve both ever had!

The hut is a great little couples getaway. The location was fantastic and it was easy to find with the instructions provided. The hut itself is finished to a high standard along with everything that was provided internally. The bed was the best we've ever slept on, so amazing that we may have to invest in one ourselves!

The only negatives for us were that it was difficult to use the toilet comfortably as the sink obstructs where your legs go, there wasn't any shampoo, shower gel or a hairdryer provided and we thought maybe a welcome book with some local leaflets/instructions on how to use the log burner would've been useful too.

Beautifully located along the River. Perfect location within a peaceful village and a gorgeous pub 2mins walk away. Enjoyed two lovely meals from the Blacksmiths pub, the food is gorgeous. The property was very clean and cosy, and had everything we needed. Ideal for the designer outlet shopping centre as 5mins away in car. Log burner was an added bonus on those cold nights. Bed very comfy, slept like a log. We even got milk left in the fridge and the hut was lovely and warm for when we arrived.

Nothing, we just wanted to stay longer.

Peaceful location, but near City, so great for commuting back and forth.
