The Hut by the River

Beautiful property very comfortable and snug, all facilities needed for a relaxing break.

Bit of a remote location with not the most reliable of public transport, would of been better in the nicer weather to walk along the river. Could do with a pathway or gravel track to the hut as it was very slippy down the muddy track.

Beautiful location on the River ouse, the hut was beautiful quirky stay for us, you can see the owner has put a lot of thought and dedication into giving their guests a welcomed stay. Log fire just made a beautiful setting for a romantic getaway.

The hut by the river was perfect,it was spotless inside and outside,it had the most comfortable bed we have slept in,great shower good size great little kitchenette.the view from the hut is stunning over looking the river ouse.

Absolutely nothing to dislike

The property is beautiful and a a great quiet location, it was the perfect ‘chilled out’ retreat. York was only a few mins drive away, we visited the local pub where the my served excellent food and had friendly staff. Waking up to boats coming down the river was amazing and so relaxing. We will defiantly be back!

It's a beautiful place in a lovely little village, pub at end of road, short bus ride to York and beautiful views. The waterfront cafe for breakfast! Best breakfast I've had and staff are lovely 😊 I qould go back just for the breakfast 😋

Great cannot fault. Little gem of a place

We loved our stay in the Hut. The bed was really comfortable and there were little extras that had been thought about such as tea and coffee, fairy lights, a fold-away mirror under the bed.

The hut is absolutely beautiful and everything we hoped for. Perfect area, perfect amount of facilities and so peaceful and relaxing. Briefly spoke to the owners, who were so accommodating and so lovely! We will definitely be back for another stay.
