We absolutely loved it here, and ended up extending our stay. Had we been able to extend further, we would have stayed longer in Kuta! Our bungalow was spacious, comfortable and cleaned daily. We had a kettle and fridge in our room, and access to a shared kitchen and washing machine. The Wi-Fi was good. The location is perfect, far quieter than the centre of Kuta, but only a 5 min scoot away. John & Umar were fantastic hosts and always happy to help.

Absolutely nothing

John was a fantastic host! Very accommodating and helpful and his mountain Bungalows are perfectly situated if you want somewhere close enough to the centre of Kuta but nice and quiet. The rooms were exactly what we needed and the property was tucked nicely into the bush. If we had a problem or request, John always had a solution and was quick to offer help. The options for delicious breakfast with coffee and fresh fruit included (thanks Omar!) as well as cheap scooter rental with surf racks were ideal. Highly recommend staying at Kuta Mountain Bungalows and we can't wait to come back.

A gem of a place, set back from the road in a beautiful, mostly quiet area. John and Omar were extremely friendly and accommodating. They organized a scooter and transport for me - breakfast was great value.

The shower was only with cold water, which i think should be stated when you book the room. The A/C was working, but the ensuite bathroom , which is partially outdoors, makes all the cold air go away fast. This is quite a waste of electricity in my opinion. The room wasn't clean everywhere, especially around the bed. And a cockroach got into my suitcase when we stayed here, not so nice.

John and Umar are amazing hosts and were there with any questions I had. The bungalows are located in the middle of nature with monkeys, cows or geckos coming by which I loved. It's a perfect place to relax, enjoy Kuta and go explore Lombok. I rented a scooter from John and Umar which was great and the daily breakfast was delicious. You can even use the kitchen yourself if you'd like. Would definitely come back. Thanks for the amazing time!

Great bungalows in good location just outside Kuta. Friendly helpful staff and easy scooter rental. Personal water refill in the room

Beautiful bungalow just outside of Kuta (5 min drive). Breakfast is really good and great value, the scooter they lent me was in perfect condition, the room is spacious and has a fridge, kettle & water dispenser which is really handy. Very much recommend staying here.
