Daffodil Lodge

La casa è semplicemente perfetta, curata in ogni dettaglio e appena entrata già mi sentivo a casa. La proprietaria di casa ci ha fatto trovare il frigorifero pieno di cose buonissime e le abbiamo gustate tutte con un’ottima cena. La casa è in campagna, in una zona silenziosa, e’ molto pulita ed è fornita di tutto quello che serve per un ottimo soggiorno. Molto comodo il parcheggio auto all’interno della proprietà.

Das kleine, niedliche Cottage ist ruhig und ländlich gelegen. Die Räume sind liebevoll eingerichtet und es gibt in jeder Ecke etwas neues und schönes zu entdecken. Auch der Aussenbereich ist zauberhaft gestaltet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und uns sehr über unser kleines Willkommensgeschenk gefreut. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

Cute decor

There was moldy/mildew smell that made me sneeze immediately with air freshener to try and mask the odor , we left 15 minutes after arriving I am highly allergic to it so can't make it up Let the host know about it , response was I was there this morning and did not smell anything If you want a super rustic out in the middle of nowhere with a old musty smell with super cute decor this is the place for you to stay

We stayed in this beautiful cottage, loved every minute, Mary our host left nothing out she stocked the fridge and little snack bar..it was so clean and beds were so comfortable..we would love to book it again

Mary and Daffodil Lodge are treasures. I cannot recommend this Lodge enough . It is such a beautiful home so beautifully decorated with an enchanting vibe. Super comfortable and spacious and so clean. Mary has thought of everything that you would need. So if you forget to bring something,Mary probably has it in the house waiting for you. She even had a fry up the next morning, if we wanted it!!! Just so thoughtful. No issue with contacting her and very happy to help out with any questions. 10/10 for us and please god we will get.the chance to visit again.

It was in a quiet location and easy to find. Mary is a wonderful communicator and also left little personal notes that were nice. There were a lot of goodies left around the house which were appreciated. The bedrooms were decorated and you can tell that the host has a lot of love and nostalgia for the house as she explains on a plaque. The house has been in her family for a few generations so it's hard to be critical of something so loved. She explains that the house has been renovated which you can see in the newer windows, doors, shower, toilet and kitchen appliances. Everything was clean and it had a lot of quirky charm, like spending the night at Grandma's house. We stayed in early June and it wasn't too hot or too cold outside so the temperature inside was good too. Easy to understand Instructions were left and it was easy to turn on hot water and the wifi password was left in several places.

The house is very loved but unfortunately has suffered with age in the way of a tilting staircase and uneven walls that are covered up by slapdashed wallpaper.
