Gorgeous cottage and village. Nice amenities. Loved the welcome basket with breakfast items. Lots of space to relax between sightseeing.

The location was absolutely stunning, set in a background of old stone buildings and rolling hills. On arrival I couldn't access my emails to get the lockbox code and the one on the Booking.com app didn't work. Countryside internet before being able to get on the Wi-Fi but that wasn't any fault of the property as the email the hosts had sent had the right code. Anyway, the hosts heard us trying to get in and came out to help. Selina and her husband were both very charming and welcoming giving some useful information about where we can eat and trains into Bath etc. We were greeted by a welcome basket filled with some local bread, butter, eggs, milk, jam and muesli - ideal for making sure you had something for breakfast - totally unexpected and a lovely touch. The Coach House itself was well decorated, immaculately clean and had all the amenities you could need for any length of stay. Beds were comfortable and both rooms had an ensuite which made life easier. All in all, a fantastic stay - thank you.

Very clean, very comfortable property in an excellent location. Beautifully converted coach house with everything needed for a week’s stay. The two bedrooms are fully en-suite which was a real bonus for friends travelling together. Selina couldn’t have been more helpful but fully respected our privacy. Freshford is a picture-book English village with many excellent walks to places of interest straight from the door. (Iford Manor and Farleigh Hungerford Castle are must-sees.)
