"Passable"

Location and great views.

Unclean property, ant infestation by the stairs and the kichen worktops, uncomfortable mattress (needs replacing) in master bedroom. The sofa bed was soiled which appeared to be urine. This property did not meet my expectations for the price, driveway was occupied with two cars which makes it difficult to park, as the owner lives opposite. The photos that are on booking.com are misleading, as this is NOT a private driveway for the holiday party. Self check-in but the owner came across at night when we were about to have dinner, and felt this was an invasion of our privacy. If you want to meet the booking party beforehand, why have a self check-in? This made me feel like we were spied on during our two night stay. When I informed her there were ants in the property I was accused of lying, saying they never had ants? I took a video and photo as proof.

"Family weekend in Freshford."

Spacious property a few minutes walk from the station. Friendly owners. Lovely village. Good showers. Pretty well equipped.

It didn’t bother us cos it was winter, but there’s not a lot of outside space.

"Lovely cottage"

The character of the area and the style of the cottage in particular. Washing facilities were handy. The kitchen and heating were good. Friendly and helpful owner.

The open shower design was a little inconvenient as it would spray water everywhere. The sink was very slow to drain - may need to be unblocked.

Very beautiful area, close to Bath.

The parking for a large SUV is very tight, and inconvenient, especially with narrow roads.

Beautiful property in a stunning location. The village pub served excellent food as did the local farm shop. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We couldn’t have wished for a better place.
