The Bolt Hole is a lovely place to stay. It has everything you need. It also has great panoramic views. Access is easy to the premises and the keys. Tiffany sends a very comprehensive email and explains everything you will need during your stay. We only stayed one night but would like to return in the near future to explore the area. Thank You

This should have been an excellent rental. Internally, it failed to deliver at nearly every level. I acknowledge that Tiffany often responds by saying “I am just a call away” but surely the apartment should be as described and fully functional without making phone calls? The cleanliness of the property was dubious - the rubbish from the previous occupants was still in the kitchen bin, and the ‘fitted’ sheet on the double bed was so crumpled that I wondered if the bedding had been changed. There is a tiny under-stairs cupboard containing a toilet and a tiny sink; you literally cannot turn around in there. If you bend down to pull up your trousers, you bang your head on the basin. When you straighten up, you bang your head on the lightshade - I am only 5’ 8’’. A collection of someone else’s part used loo rolls, each with just a few sheets remaining, is not desirable. The entry on the Booking site shows 2 symbols - “bathroom” and “bath or shower”. There is no bathroom. There is a loo with a pathetically small basin and the shower is on a different floor. The position of the double bed meant that one of us cracked our heads on the dormer window every time we got up. The light switch is hidden behind the dormer and can only be accessed by side-stepping around the bed. The sofa is sagging/broken. The heating was so inadequate that with the radiators turned on, it was only 15*C in the property in the morning. I note from previous responses that instructions are provided for the heating but we didn’t find them, instructions are provided for the cooker but we didn’t find them and could not work the cooker. I also note that no criticism is ever accepted.

Great place with lovely views. Easy to find. Private parking. Nice and clean. Had everything we needed including the welcome pack.

I really enjoyed the peace and quite of the area. The nearby beach was clean and tranquil - it felt like I was a world away from London. I saw two women relaxing and swimming in the sea and i thought to myself, next time, i will be in there with them. Hythe is truly a hidden gem, and the people there were so friendly and welcoming. I achieved my goal of finding clarity and being able to think more clearly. Whilst i mostly cooked using the facilities I occasionally treated myself by visiting the local cafe which served delicious cake and chips. I am very happy to say I achieved my short term goal.

Fabulous place, Tiffany is super friendly and helpful! The Hythe town is fab! Also so near Folkstone and Canterbury… Our stay delivered in every way. We loved this place, as it was modern, clean and airy, beautifully decorated, spacious for a couple and small dog friendly. The scenery, views, the walk along the canal, with the sea right next to it, a Waitrose to shop, a beautiful comfy bedroom and parking space right outside. 100% recommend! Thank you, T ♥️♥️
