Superb House in Looe, in walking distance to Beach and Bars with Great Views

Location House decor Clean and inviting Issue with bunk bed- responsive regarding maintenance support

We were a party of 8 ( 5 adults 3 children) First day of holiday agent informed us one shower out of use ( previous guests smashed shower screen). Owner informed safe to use toilet and sink in bathroom. 2 guests had shards of glass in feet, not safe to use as not deep cleaned. Owner/ agent lack of timely response to regarding how it would impact our stay. No phone call or in person visit- we had to instigate all text messages and chase ++. Description on booking not accurate. One family bathroom, one ensuite (need to access bedroom to use- not ideal). Fourth bedroom (bunk beds very small) just able to open the door. Phone app with all information a good idea however, some details were out of date: long term parking, double daily price than advertised/ restaurant recommendations- 1 closed down. Also 9am check out ( very early), and we were asked to strip all beds to keep the cleaners safe. Surely this is outdated (covid 2020).

Location was great. We loved the terrace , perfect for sunsets. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Likely because it’s almost built into the hillside, there was a damp smell. The fridge space small for a group.

excellent location as near to the town center plus bus stops and railway station.

the property was very clean generally, however, there were aspects that could have been cleaner, for instance door handles and the area around the handles needed a clean. we also found that regulating the heating was a bit tricky , at times the boiler would start up during the night and the heating would come on when not required. parking is a bit of a problem. there was never a space outside the property when needed and we weren’t certain if it was ok to park in the car park opposite overnight. However, we ,left the car in the Council Car Park over the bridge and it was a very reasonable cost!

The house and location were absolutely beautiful!

We expected to have a parking space, but found it was only available between 6pm and 10am so that was an issue

What a beautiful place! Absolutely stunning interior. So beautifully presented with all you need and more. The layout is fantastic. Kitchen and front living room downstairs. Living room has amazing views on sea. One of the nicest accommodations we stay in. Location, that is Perfect. You are literally 5 mins walk to a parade of shops,restaurants, bars, boutiques. You could never ask for anything more. Thank you :)

Good location, easy walk into town. Spacious and comfortable.

We liked everything about this place. Spotless, helpful owners, lovely decor, warm, good location. Spacious for 8 people plus a baby. Helpful to have use of swimming pool just a short drive away. Would highly recommend

That we had to leave

Lots of room (and rooms!) kitchen facilities very good, well equipped, and all nicely furnished. Great location for town. Instruction e-book very useful.

Accessibility could have been an issue. Properties set back from the road on a high terrace with step access only. For doors fitted throughout (pretty much every door) are very heavy and (sorry but) had to be wedged open with bags so that our kids could reliably open them without injury. Property temperature fluctuated a fair bit with some upstairs rooms being exceptionally stuffy. We didn’t use the master bedroom in part for that reason, but took a cooler one downstairs.

We had an amazing stay for our friends 30th birthday! Amazing views, clean and comfy beds!! Thank you for a great stay.

The only thing we needed was a broom to sweep up after ourselves but that was very minor.
