Superb House in Looe, in walking distance to Beach and Bars with Great Views

The house was well located with only a five minute walk to the town, pubs, restaurants, shops and public car park. It has great views over the river, being situated above the main road. It was clean with spacious rooms and the bedrooms were well appointed. There were plenty of cooking utensils and crockery etc, and some essential supplies like salt, pepper, washing up liquid, coffee, tea, sugar and a complimentary pack of luxury biscuits!

A bluetooth speaker that you could connect your own device to would be better than the Amazon Alexa provided. It has limited choices on Amazon music for guests who do not have an Amazon Music account. We listen to a lot of music, if we had realised this we would of course have brought our own speaker! A bread knife would have been useful. Hooks on the back of bedroom and bathroom doors would be useful. These are not complaints, but small pointers which would enhance the experience of future guests.

We love the space that this beautiful house provided us with for our family stay. It gave us an ideal base to explore Looe and attend a wedding. The beds were super comfortable and the décor was great too. The views are lovely, and it's only a short 5 min walk into town, and 10 min to the beach. The pubs in town are cosy and rustic, and we even got a glimpse of 'Beyond Paradise' TV series being filmed. The harbour looks magical lit up at night. Communication from the owner was prompt and helpful. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

The parking situation felt a bit tricky at first, but we got used to it. It's something that can't really be helped. The council Millpond long stay carpark across the water is huge. Some people might find access to the property from the street a little hard because it has a steep slope but it wasn't a problem for us, and being higher up gave us a better view. The top floor shower broke which was a little inconvenient, but again couldn't really be helped and Sarah the owner got her maintenance guy on to it straight away.
