Polean Farm Old Farmhouse - With Large Jacuzzi, Games Room, Near the Sea and with Free Access to a Nearby Pool

The house was clean and comfortable. The beds were lovely and comfortable and we slept well. My youngest granddaughter loved feeding the animals.

The bedrooms were warm but the living area felt quite chilly. We turned the heating up and tried to light the log burner but couldn’t get it to catch. I have a log burner at home and light it with no problem so not sure what the issue was with this one.

Nothing it was excellent, with no faults.

The property was lovely, I actually stayed at one of the other cottages the Shires which was beautiful. The location for us was lovely and peaceful surrounded by fields and farm animals. We loved the horses and the cosy cottage.

The bed could have a mattress topper as you could feel the springs.

Self catering the host said that would come and check that we were settled and give more information of property. We didn’t see anyone until day before we left. We paid £100 dog deposit which was refunded but we were told that the refund was issued the day after we left but would take 15 to go into account but it took 3 weeks to go in.

Even though there wasn’t that many but there were big weeds growing on patio area, brambles growing around the edges of garden Curtain rail above the entrance door coming away from wall making difficult to pull curtains.

Well prepared and equipped ,clean and tidy cottage on a very quiet equestrian/tourism 'farm' - no tractors rumbling, no cows mooing, no dogs barking, just some gee-gees clippety clopping past occasionally + 2 lonely looking sheep..We enjoyed the ultra-quietness + walking direct to Polperro by bridleway & tiny road. (about an hour's walk each way). It was also very relaxing to just throw all our waste into one bin without having to bother with lots of different little bins for food, plastics, paper etc. as we've had to do in fussy places like Germany and Canada. We never met the owners of Polruan cottages but they have clearly thought of just about everything.

Pretty much the perfect rural stay.

Amazing space, plenty of rooms large kitchen and living area. Meant we could eat together in the kitchen or spend time separately when needed.

Shower could do with a bit more power but that could be personal preference and understandably due to the facilities available. Other than that it was perfect!

A lovely little cottage on a nice little farm the animal feeding was great the play room has lots for children to play with. Very good location a short drive from Looe. Local beach talon bay was a great place for kids to play in the sand. We had a nice swim at the local holiday park.

Everything is amazing

Really nice cozy cottage with a good and relaxing location. The place is well maintained and very clean.

Other than the bad luck with the weather, everything else was perfect. The only two minor things that I can point out are that no bath towel was provided for my son and although it was specified that the travel cot was without bed linen there was no mention about the missing mattress as well.
