Zeer aardige host, niks was teveel gevraagd. Heel mooi uitzicht vanaf het balkon en het is leuk ingericht.

The place had an amazing view into the jungle from the balcony. The property was really clean and tastedully decorated. The location was really nice 2.2 km from Ella (we sometimes walked) and the Tuk tuk usually needs 500LKR. There were places to eat and walk around. Our hostess was amazing, very friendly, really helpful giving us tips and attending to every need we had. The breakfast was a nice home made addition as well.

Wifi signal can be weak at times.

An amazing place!!! Very clean nice comfortable and with an amazing view. It only has two rooms so it’s kinda private. The hostess is a lovely lady who lives next door and she is also a very good cook! Very friendly and she helped us a lot with different info.

A bit far from Ella city- only two km but it’s uphill so you need a tuk tuk that costs 500 rupees each way. The location is ideal though to get away from the noisy Ella city centre. Also internet was a bit weak but who needs internet when you have this amazing view!

This was a beautiful property overlooking the forest and Ella Rock beyond. It was so peaceful and our host, Lucky, was so kind. She welcomed us with cups of tea and made fantastic breakfasts for us and even at 5:45 on the day we were leaving to catch the train.

Nothing. It was about a 20-25 walk from the centre but this means it’s a lot quieter.

Noise from some dogs

Lucky, the owner, makes this property one of the most welcoming homestays in Sri Lanka. Her bubbly personality, kindness and generosity create a warm and inviting atmosphere. She is also an incredible cook! The room is simple but cosy and clean. This is the second time we've stayed with her and we'll come again.

The most gorgeous secluded cottage in the forest, I felt very safe as a solo traveller, the host was amazing and so accommodating

Very friendly host and good breakfast. Silent location, balcony overlooking the jungle. Great price quality guesthouse giving you the opportunity to meet a local.

You need a tuk tuk to reach the location from Ella. We found insects in the room, but it happened also in other guesthouses and I guess it is normal being surrounded by nature.
