Biwon Homestay

Lucky is a wonderful host! The breakfast was delicious and the place is located in a wonderful area in front of Ella rock! It's wonderful waking up with the sound of the birds and nature. She was extremely useful helping us to find non touristic places and accommodating us.

Every place always needs improvement. :)

Breakfast was delicious - with variation - hoppers, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, omelete, , grains, spices

The location was nice but the property is still under construction

I have just concluded a four day stay at Biwon Homestay I was significantly disappointed with the standard of the accomodation . I mentioned several issues to the host but no effort was made to improve the situation. The door was difficult to open as it gets stuck on the ground and was difficult to lock Most times there was no hot water in the shower. The host said to wait 2-3 minutes but still it was cold The host does not supply any daily water or soap or shampoo. There is no cleaning of the linen or room during the four day stay The hotel Wi Fi is generally not working. I mentioned to the host that the ceiling had been broken and the damage was severe enough to fall down on guests sleeping below I think monkeys were going into the ceiling. The host made no effort to make the ceiling safe. In fact on the last night animals entered the room whilst we were asleep and ate some of our food I think we should be compensated for our hotel stay discomfort by getting a partial refund.

Lucky is an excellent host. She is ever smiling and serves with care. The rooms are very functional and have great mountain views. You can also see the train pass by sometimes. The bathroom had hot water facility. WiFi is functional. The food was homemade and tasty. Parking is available.

The location, breakfast and the host was amazing

The location was amazing, wehad a beautiful view from our balcony, so many birds and nature Our room was lovely and bathroom really nice and clean, we loved the stone walls and garden around the side with plants. Comfy bed & pillows and fresh towels.

Nothing, it was perfect we didn't want to leave!

Everything was amazing. The room was very nice, Lucky has been the greatest host. We spent 2 nights in Ella and she cooked us two different (and super delicious) Sri Lankan style breakfasts. She also made us a tasty soup the day we arrived.
