"Great unit in perfect location with exceptional host"

The location of the property is exceptional. Offsite parking was secure with plenty of room for minivan. Having 2 bathrooms was nice for our party of 5. Mark meeting us at the property to hand off key and show how everything worked was very helpful. The chocolate cake and prosecco was a nice touch that we fully appreciated. Finally, Mark was always available for any questions we had. We would absolutely stay here again!

A clothes dryer would have been nice but it was spelled out that there was only a washer on the property. We used the fan to assist drying the clothes on the rack. Three upper floors result in a lot of stairs but is typical for a unit of this caliber within the walls of York.

Couldn’t have asked for a better host - Mark was communicative, helpful, and understanding. The location can’t be beat. It’s in the shadow of the Minster and steps from shopping and restaurants (live music drifting through the open windows in the evening made for a superb atmosphere). In addition, Mark provides the little details that make a place feel like home - games and books (including a boxed set of “Horrible Histories”).

House was beautiful. Clean, comfortable, well equipped. Great location for attractions, restaurants. Hose was excellent, very attentive, checking that we were all OK.

Clean , bright, lovely decor. It was well equipped and so lovely to be in the centre . Being next to the Minster , very easy to find.

The house is lovely with everything you need. there are a lot of stairs. The location is amazing, extremely central.

I think the house needs a deep clean. Stairs could be a problem Bells from the minster are loud and frequent but not at night.
