Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Easy bus into York. Would definitely recommend.

Mistletoe Cottage is an utter delight, a little oasis in the fast paced life we live. It is so charismatic, cosy and comfortable. We couldn’t wait to come back to the cottage having explored York in the daytime. Jayne is so welcoming and helpful. The cottage is so well resourced and there are so many unique areas in the cottage suitable for all the family. We loved playing dominoes at the table and waking up to the cheeping birds. It was so sad leaving but we hope to be back soon. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Lovely little town, 30 mins from York. Local pub delivers amazing bugers and roast dinners, we'd definitely stay again. We actually had a sudden illness resulting in a hospital stay. Jayne was so understanding when we were no longer sure about dates, etc. We really loved our stay, and appreciated their kindness.

Mistletoe Cottage is a fabulous place to stay, a real home from home. Lovely little touches like a small Christmas Tree in the lounge, milk, butter, eggs, mince pies and bread when we arrived. Plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and cleaning supplies. Immaculately clean and super soft towels! Lots of information provided about transport, local restaurants, attractions and walks etc. It's a little way out of the centre of York, and cost approximately £40 in a taxi, but would be cheaper in an uber. However, there's a great park and ride about 10 min drive from the cottage which takes you to and from York and all it's attractions. Would thoroughly recommend and stay again.

Amazing location for visiting York. So cozy and comfortable. We had absolutely everything we needed for myself, my partner, two teenage boys and my parents. It was the perfect size. Slept like a baby. We used the park and ride into York which made it stress free visiting the city centre without worrying about parking etc. we enjoyed some of the board games in the evening. So so cozy and quiet. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you for having us! We will be back!

The property was extremely clean and had all the essentials you need! It was really nice cottage and fantastic hosts that were very informative and always happy to help :) I would recommend this properly to everyone and would be returning :)

Jayne was very friendly and welcoming on arrival and offered some great advice for visiting the local area and there was even more information in the very detailed information pack inside. The cottage was beautiful and very clean and well looked after and in a great location. Could not fault anything with our stay and it would be a pleasure to stay here again on our next visit to York!
