"It was a lovely weekend"

The property was lovely , lots of rooms with fans a bonus, big table for meals and a lovely seating area for drinks

Front bedroom mattress not very comfortable, tried to recycle lovely lavender plant in the way. The chef wanted more chopping boards!

"Great location with free parking"

Location is great, less than 10 mins walk from attractions in central York. Parking was just right in front of the door and it's free, excellent! The house was very clean and fitted with amenities, appreciated.

The stair was quite steep (which is typical), which could poses challenge to elderly and young kids

"A very enjoyable stay in a fabulous city."

Perfect location just a short walk from the city centre. The house was very warm and cosy which was important as it was minus six degrees when we arrived. The neighbourhood was very quiet with a handy local mini supermarket.

The only thing we could fault was that there were no hooks for hanging coats, hats & scarves which because it was winter were numerous and invariably very wet. Also a few more mugs in the kitchen would have been good as well, for the many hot drinks required.
