stunning inside and lovely and cosy. location was lovely, the park was well run and the restaurant fabulous .

The write up about the breakage deposit was inaccurate and misleading. states£150 cash on arrival to be refunded on vacating. I was asked to pay £200 on my card upfront prior to arrival via slink (I refused as don’t trust links), so had to pay it when I arrived instead. They said they couldn’t change the wording to the credit card procedure, due to booking.com rules🤔??? Had to wait over a week and chase it up twice with phone calls, as they didn’t refund it after visit. Not the best, especially waiting for money owed just before Xmas. The lodge it’s self was perfect, but wouldn’t go again due to the money issues.

"Superb Stay"

Very clean, modern and highly decorated! Surrounding we're good. Very good hot tub facilities with wind breakers. Surprised to have 2 ensuite bathrooms which were clean.

25 minute drive from York City Centre - But other then that very good.
