Meadows Lodge

The lodge had every thing you need surroundings was peaceful would recommend

We had trouble finding it as Google maps didn't take us there had to ring the hosts to get directions but it's not rare us getting lost husbands good at that

Fantastic place! Perfect for a couple looking to explore York and the moors. Location is ideal, just a ten minute drive from the city and Ubers/local cab companies are very easy, we had no issues whatsoever. Cosy little lodge with all the amenities needed and then some. Peaceful, plenty of privacy. Everything was clean and tidy and looked after. It had plenty of space for two adults, and has a sofa bed available if needed. Wish we could have stayed longer! Guest information book is full of brilliant recommendations including pub crawls and restaurants and things to do/places to go.

Such a cosy little lodge in a great area with many facilities nearby, close to the park&ride so you can have an amazing day out in York. My partner and I loved staying here and will definitely be back. Keep an eye out for little Millie the pug too!

Location easy to get into York and surrounding areas with or without a car

The noise from the main road was loud especially once the heavy goods vehicles began coming past around 5:30 in the morning. Some of the areas such as work tops dusty and microwave wasn’t clean but other wise a pleasant stay

Very cosy, comfortable, well equipped lodge in a lovely setting. My second stay, and I hope to stay again in the future.
