The Holgate Hideaway with Hot Tub

Great location and amenities. Staff were so helpful and quick to answer all queries. Sainsbury’s local just round the corner - so handy. Would definitely recommend!

Wish the hot tub could be upgraded. It’s a Lazy Spa which tends to cool down really quickly. Also the hairdryer at the property tripped the electricity in one part of the house, causing the hot tub to switch off and cool down. We managed to fix it but we couldn’t use the hot tub that day.

The location is great, 10-15 mins walk into the city centre. Facilities are excellent too, hot tub is really nice.

Beds could’ve been comfier, very rattling and squeaky. Parking isn’t great but plenty of parking nearby, can get expensive as it’s £10 a day.

The property was so comfortable, cozy and well equipped, the little extras made all the difference, The bathroom was warm and the shower space was great. Had a very relaxing time. The decor is lovely . Location is good for walking into the City Centre. Parking just around the corner was convenient. Already thinking of revisiting again.

Small fan heater and hairdryer did not work but not a major problem. Electrics tripped out at some point during the day when we were out so hot tub went cold and couldn't use again before the end of our stay. Reported to agency who advised clear instructions on how to resolve quickly.

The kitchen bathroom lounge had some nice features

Parking situation is just so wrong on street parking that I paid for is on another street to get luggage Christmas foods etc into place was incredibly bad and hard And the street to park on is a rough area so I didn't use it at all had someone puck me up and drop me off for my safety Kitchen badly laid out cutlery draw a joke all just throwen in No carving fork for turkey Radio didn't work Previous guest food in freezer part of fridge Door straight out on to path constant noise from sirens and blue lights people noise outside door Never used hot tub found instructions too much for me Took ages to work dishwasher Bedroom tv didn't work Bathroom drainage smelt disgusting black mould around shower tray, top of shower was thick with dirt Lounge tv a joke only Netflix could not get normal tv Very disappointed I was terrified coming in and out of place

The hot tub was the highlight. It was very easy to use. Also, the place was very warm and nicely decorated. Everything that you could possibly need in a place, was provided so did not need to bring very much!

-Poor reception and video quality, even with their Wi-Fi -House being on the main street so lots of vehicles going by -Upstairs neighbours were a little noisy during the nights
