Location was perfect and plenty of room for the two of us

The property itself was good . Unfortunately two attempts at corresponding with the managers/ owners were never answered. There was also no hair dryer although promised in facilities lost. I noticed in other reviews this has been raised several times

Amazing location, we could not have asked a more perfect location. The house is so cute, absolutely loved it! The roll top bath was just the icing on the cake.

Everything was perfect, maybe the cobwebs on the high ceiling if I were to be picky.

It was a 5 minute walk into York city centre. It was very clean and felt very homely. It had everything we needed and lots of space. I went with my mum and we fell in love with the double bedroom and both wanted to have it as our own bedroom haha. It was all lovely.

Nothing to dislike - I would only recommend having some herbs and those semi-perishable food items that help with cooking that people wouldn’t buy on a short stay.

Great location, short walk to the city walls, shops, bars & restaurants. Beds were clean and very comfortable.

Sadly, the photos online look fabulous but in reality the property is let down with haphazard cleaning. The lights in the kitchen, directly above the cooking area were disgustingly dirty, clearly not cleaned for some time. Thankfully, we didn’t need to cook anything. The edge of the living room rug was hanging off , very shabby. The freezer had had something spilt in it and had never been cleaned up. There was a huge, thick, dark scuff mark along one wall in the living room. A wipe down and a touch up with paint would have taken 10 minutes. There were a few stains on the stairs’ carpet. The courtyard outside space was a huge disappointment. There were planters containing very old dead plants. It was the most depressing area, you’d definitely not want to spend any time out there. Even a few artificial plants would have brightened it up. We couldn’t find the hair dryer. Before we travelled we double checked the listing that one would be provided as we were a group of 3 females. We contacted the owner who said that none of her properties had hairdryers anymore as they had all broken and she hadn’t bothered to replace them. She apologised and said she would remove it from her future listing. This didn’t help us. We had to go out and purchase a new one for us to use. The downstairs shower room looks lovely. However, when you have a shower, the water floods out of the shower area into the toilet area even after putting down the shower mat provided. This meant that the mat was saturated after every shower and you had to be extremely careful not to slip on the wet floor in the toilet area.

Keys left in key box, property was very spacious and in great location. Slight issue with hot water was easily resolved when contacting the given number.

Easy to walk into town, comfortable beds. Main bus route. Nice kitchen and dining room.

Very uncomfortable sofa in the lounge, microwave inside a cupboard which had to be moved every time we used it. Only 1 t towel for 5 days we were there.

Beautiful house, lovely kitchen and dining area and fab bathrooms!
