The Old Carriage House

Lovely house in a fantastic location.

Very clean and comfortable and easy walking distance to the Minster and medieval city. It had everything we needed, a great base for our short stay. The weather was cold but the house was lovely and warm.

5-10 minute walk into the centre of town. Most of the major facilities provided for. Always managed to get a parking spot which was good. On a main road, but pretty good noise insulation

No hair dryer for my wife and 2 teenage girls.. should be an easy fix.

Lovely property with good features and close to the centre. The hosts left clear and easy to follow instructions. There was the option for permit parking. The heating was very effective for cold December nights. Also very close to a Sainsbury’s

The upstairs windows seemed to be double glazed and the property was right off the street so there was a bit of noise from outside. The WiFi was quite spotty too

Fabulous location, very short walk into York centre.

The toilet upstairs is in one of the en suite’s so no toilet upstairs for the other bedroom.

Lovely house with lots of character!. Perfect location, literally a few minutes walk and you’re right in the city!.

If I had to be really picky it would be nice to have some coat hooks downstairs but that’s all I can say.
