Central property with free parking, 10 min walk to Bar Walls

The property was extremely clean and had everything you need.

The interior of the property is tastefully decorated, and the back garden is lovely. There was plenty of tea & coffee and fresh milk on arrival which was a nice touch.

I personally didn't like the residential estate that the house is on. I felt very unsettled there and we came home a day early. The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable and so were the sofas in the lounge. It is obvious these have had a lot of wear over the years.

Lovely sized house generally. Very comfortable for 3 friends staying. Lovely decor. Easy to access the city, about a 20 minutes walk. Good wifi. Well stocked resources for bathroom/toilet and the kitchen. Very helpful to have 2 toilets! Excellent host, who was very quick and responsive to any query. The beds were all really comfortable and the location was incredibly quiet. Looks can be deceiving... don't worry as you drive towards the property.

The kitchen area was very small to accommodate the table (even though the choice of table was very sensible). If the full possibility of 5 people were staying, it would have been far too small to get everyone around and be able to use the kitchen still - be prepared to eat on your knees! :-). A small negative amongst very many positives.

The property is about a ten minute drive into the city Center, there is a supermarket around the corner, lots to do locally. The property was spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. The property has a beautiful back garden with seating. WiFi which was easily accessible, smart tv that I was able to sign into my streaming accounts with. Lots of board games for the kids to play in an evening. The property is very spacious, with toilets upstairs and downstairs. There is a driveway to park the car on so it’s not on the road side. The host was lovely, she’d left us a welcome note and ice creams in the freezer for my children, and milk in the fridge which was a nice welcoming touch to be able to make a cup of tea as soon as we had arrived! We have had a fantastic week in York and having such a wonderful homely property to stay in has made such a big difference to our stay here.

Possibly a small fan in the bedroom as it was quite warm during our stay.

Well located property in a very quiet neighbourhood and within easy walking distance of all the major sights. Everything went really smoothly, the house was very clean, well equipped and the host very easy to contact and very amiable. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit York.

Just because it was so hot a fan would've been a nice addition but the windows opened really wide so we were able to handle the heat!
