Location was good but very noisy with 24hr McDonalds opposite and early morning noise from traffic

Small bathroom was very tight . Only overhead shower so had to go buy a showercap. No light in the shower area. Didn’t appreciate the requirement to go up and down stairs to the toilet from the living area. Basic decor could do with a spruce up as some of the walls where badly marked

Beautiful house, comfy bed and brilliant location for exploring york.

Only bad point would be noise from people late at night. But we in middle of city so is to be expected.

Nice property, plenty of room.

Not enough seating in the living room, only enough for 4 people. Kitchen utensils were dirty and needed to be washed before use. The continuous noise from the 24hour MacDonalds directly across the road kept us all awake every night until 4 and 5am.

Fantastic central location, well equipped.

Being opposite at 24hr McDonalds it is rather noisy late at night. Property also needs some black out curtains and a toaster.

Good size Clean with a cozy livingroom. Location . Great little starter pack of cleaning bits t bags milk etc

Good location was ruined by being opposite a 24h McDonald's, I've never seen so many drunken fights. Slates on bed were broke. Toaster would blow the electrics if switched on. Plastic measuring cup was completely cracked down one side which I did not see until I filled it full with milk!

The property was centrally located and had enough rooms and space for our family stay.

The property is on a pedestrian street. We knew there was no parking, but on arrival we couldn’t even stop outside the property to unload the car. We had a 10 minute walk with our suitcases. The property is directly opposite McDonalds, which is open 24 hours. At pub closing time we were woken by the noise of the after-club crowd getting McDonalds and shouting to one another. At around 4am we were then woken again by the bin lorries. We also were kept awake by a group of seagulls that I think were nesting on the roof!

It is very near to the Betty’s tea house and the cathedral.

The wifi is affected by the internet outage. Somewhere like in the closet or windowsill can see and touch the dust. The shower at the top floor has beautiful view, but after shower, the water will cause the flood in the bathroom. You’ll have to clean up on your own, since there is no room service during the stay.
