Blake Street

I booked the accomodation through staysyork as I have had alot off trouble with booking.com 2 times my accomodation was cancelled one 2 days before my trip , I found this accomodation the staff at stays york were amazing I could get in touch easily they were efficient , good communication phoning myself toake sure we recieved everything we needed and made us feel very welcome , the accomodation was right in the centre with alot going on around us we loved the location and the property had everything you needed , very spacious, clean and was just amazing Thank-you stays york team you made are trip , I will be booking direct with you next time

Clean and comfortable and convenient location, very nice décor with more than adequate facilities.

This property, though a good location in the city, is directly opposite a 24 hour McDonald's so it's very loud in the evening up until 1-2 in the morning.

superb location with all facilities provided. kids and adults have good times chilling in the premise and surrounding areas. worth the money

The apartment is lovely and the location is wonderful. The bathroom on the top floor is really nice and has a tub with a view of the Minster.

No shampoo or soap in the shower. There is a McDonalds across the street that is open 24 hours a day. People are hanging out there all night long and so it is quite loud. Even with the windows shut and earplugs in, I still had a hard time sleeping. You have to take the trash out yourself in the morning before you leave.

Modern, well maintained, clean, good location for going out.

The noise from the street below, Macdonalds at pub kicking out time is so bad, they have to have a security guard, fights breaking out and police, both nights. Then at 6am its street sweepers, bin men and HGV doing deliveries. ALL bang outside our windows. Take earplugs if you plan on getting ANY sleep!

size of property layout fantastic for two families

location. noise from midnight to dawn. drunks yelling and fighting. McDonald’s opened 24/7. property not suitable for long stay if you want a rest and sleep during night. ideal if you wish to party all night and sleep during day. property no blackout curtains in one main room. city lights and noise impossible to sleep. probably very basic kitchen and “tired”. shower tap that falls off in your hand. very poor lighting in steep staircases. some not working. bedding Sooners not covered! health issue. we arrived at 5pm temperature-5 and property not heated. heating not working (froze first night). obviously property not checked before our arrival.
