"A relaxing property and a great location for a group of friends to enjoy York."

The location was excellent - in the centre of the city, a few steps from the Minster. Despite being in the middle of the shops, it was quiet and peaceful. It has views of the Minster. There was a Sainsbury's a few minutes walk away, which was very useful. (Please note there are many stairs, so not good for people with reduced mobility.)

Our only dislike was that some of the cups had not been properly washed (an omission by previous guests).

"Beautiful home in an outstanding location"

The building is only a few steps from the Minster yard; can't really get much more central than this. We found the house to be quiet at night despite the very central location. The rooms and kitchen are well appointed and tastefully decorated; our party of eight, with two small children, were very comfortable during our stay. We had an excellent time, loved the house, and would be glad for a chance to come again.

"Spot on Property, spot on location"

Location was perfect, in the heart of York with views of York Minster Property was extremely spacious over 3 floors and fully equipped as we were able to easily cook a full roast dinner for 6 people on New Year's Day. The secondary glazing helped reduce outside noise

There wasn't anything we didn't like, I think the number of stairs is something anyone with mobility issues have to be aware of and some of us felt the mattresses were a bit hard but this is personal choice. The wifi isn't the strongest but coped with using just mobile phones. Overall a great property!!!

The location provided the optimal opportunity to maximise our stay as we were able to walk to any of the main attractions in York within 10 minutes. It was clean, very comfortable and slightly quirky, lots of character, and lovely furnishings. The bedrooms were very roomy and airy with an amazing view from every window, including the bathroom!

The stairs were tough but worth it for the location and adds to the character.
