"A really lovely place to stay, a real treat and fab communication with host."

location was perfect, the whole house was so lovely and everything we needed

we managed to get the last parking space so we were lucky, and my friend managed a very good parallel park, but if we hadn't got that space then this would have been an issue as being so central the local car parks would have have been very expensive. This meant we daren't move the car. Saying that we will risk it and book the house again if we come back to York as the house was very nice and quite treat. Thank you.

Everything! A minor plumbing problem had been intimated to us but was addressed promptly to our complete satisfaction. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and ideally located for our needs. We especially appreciated the festive touches!

Very nicely decorated, all appliances great . Situated in a fabulous location for getting into York.

There was not anything we did not like, but would say you may want to add that the top room is very steep and if you have any problems climbing you would struggle? Also on booking.com the house is advertised as having 5 bathrooms??? It only has three ?

This is the third time we’ve stayed at this property, it is very close to the centre of York

The parking, you have a permit but can’t park near the property as the area isn’t monitored and people park outside the property so you have to leave the car sometimes quite a distance away

Clean, well appointed, nicely decorated, kitchen had everything you needed (bar a dishwasher), 3 full bathrooms, great bedroom sizes, TV , lounge / diner etc all great - plenty of space

No dishwasher but a minor inconvenience

"Very enjoyable stay in a nice house in a fantastic location"

House is in a great location. Very nicely decorated with lots of space and nice to have a toilet on every floor. The gas fire in the living room is amazing and very easy to operate.

No dishwasher. The hot tap in the sink on the top floor doesn't work. House was cold when we arrived but it warmed up reasonably quickly.
