Yew Tree Cottage Farm Stay Sleeps 4

beautiful cottage, location couldn’t be better, everything in the cottage you could need, views amazing. we were so close for exploring the coast and easy access to many places. few tips/heads up that we weren’t aware of: there are tea bags, instant coffee sachets and UHT milk pods for an immediate cup of tea/coffee. there is a cafetière so if you prefer fresh milk and fresh coffee then you will need to bring. the bedding is brushed polycotton which we’ve never experienced in any accommodation and it was quite warm and stiff so you may want to request different or bring your own. the stairs are very steep as it’s an old cottage. small children and those with mobility issues may struggle there is a lovely big bathroom off the kitchen and a toilet/sink upstairs. the upstairs toilet/sink is shared between the bedrooms. not an issues for families but friends staying together may find this less private we would absolutely stay again and look forward to another visit.

there was nothing that wasn’t to like. we found the decking to be slippy when wet but the owners said they would inspect and sort.

Beautiful setting and beautiful, clean cottage. They really couldn't have done anymore for us. Getting to watch the horses and rabbits through the dining room window was lovely.

the location was great. we used the local bus to go on days out. the cottage was lovely and comfortable and the views of the countryside were amazing.

Very clean and comfortable lovely peaceful location ideal for exploring the local area and coming back to relax after a day walking. Lovely that the character has been retained with the beams and fireplaces etc while providing everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Excellent communication with clear instructions on how to find the property.

It was self service but we smashed our own breakfast in a lovely kitchen with everything we needed

Only very small things, The frying pan stick and we were worried about burning or spoiling it. There was sugar and other thing left in the cupboard but some oil would have been good to have. The decking was very slippy could do with a good scrub. Everything else was perfect
